Small Craft Program

This program is for individuals with access to their own small craft such as an outrigger, kayak or stand-up paddle board.  The purpose is to build on fitness levels and provide an additional training opportunity for members of other programs.  This is not a learn to paddle program.  There is no technical instruction.  Participants should be competent in paddling. Participants will be given a program of timed pieces to do at their own speed as part of a group (such as 10 times 2 minutes with 30 seconds rest).  Participants of like speed will train together.  Sessions will be Saturday evening at 6PM.

Dartmouth Dragon Boat Association does not have any outriggers, kayaks or stand-up paddle boards.  If you are interested in buying a stand-up board or an outrigger, and have questions or want to be pointed in the right direction, feel free to call Jan at (902)483-9275 or Albert at (902)209-3843.
